Where do I start?

Most people find out about Scientology through reading books. L. Ron Hubbard wrote many books on the subject and also gave many lectures. Today one can follow his path by reading the books of Scientology and starting on a home-study extension course.

The first book is Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard. This book is a study of the mind and an explanation and therapy to bring a person to a spiritual state called Clear. Dianetics means through mind or through soul taken from the Greek word "dia", meaning through and "nous" which means soul.

Another recommended book is The Problems of Work by L. Ron Hubbard, which is Scientology applied to the work-a-day world to bring about a greater awareness and success in the task we call work.

Or you can take an on-line personality test which can accurately gage how well you are surviving.

You are very welcome to come into the Church of Scientology in Auckland at 44 Khyber Pass Rd., Grafton, Auckland. 

We are open each day of the week and weekend and into the evening as well.

There is nothing like a practical demonstration of a subject and for this the Church offers beginning Dianetics and Scientology courses for you to attend and find out for yourself.There is no obligation to take further courses or counselling, these decisions are entirely up to you.  You are welcome to come in and discuss what might be a good place to start.  You are welcome to bring a friend along as well and find out about this together.
